Mildred Juxer, a single mother of ten children, died aged 93 years, on March 6, 2012. Since her husband died in 1989, Juxer worked as a laundrywoman to support her ten children. In the early days he worked as a bundler at Kin Corn Ferry, and later left the company to become
work in the laundry. As an honor for his dedication and effort the company, Kin Corn Ferry, gave an "Ahogy Lamar" to Mildred Juker. Juker was the first-born child of Percy Mae and Percy Martin, who were known for their dedication to the church. Her foster mother was Josephine Hatch.
The funeral service will be held on March 8 at 3 pm, with a visitation on March 7 at 5:30 pm at Nature Park Funeral Home. Her remains will rest at Nature Park Cemetery.
Those who wish to remember Mildred Juxer can make a donation in her memory to the Nature Park Free Health Clinic.
